Be Part of Our Thriving Worship Family
At Halifax Pentecostal Church, we celebrate our mission of sharing God’s Word and nurturing faith. Affiliated ot the Indian Pentecostal Church of God, we aim to inspire believers to serve, grow in faith, and impact lives through worship, teaching, and acts of kindness.
Children’s Ministry
A Spirit filled, dedicated and talented team of brothers and sisters are engaged in this ministry. Regular classes are conducted every Sunday from 9.25 am to 10.25 a.m. The total time is divided into two sessions. The first 20 minutes is set aside for the singing session and the rest for academic teaching. An anointed team lead the singing session wherein songs, action songs and Spiritually oriented games are taught. Sunday school classes are taught systematically based on age in different classes.
Children’s seminars and activity programs are conducted occasionally to bring out the talents in children. By giving individual care, love and affection, we are able to win the hearts of the students to give them the right instructions and advice to aid in their Christian personality development.
Outreach Ministry
Great commission that Jesus gave His disciples 2000 years ago was to ‘go and make disciples of all nations’. Even today, believers who have experienced the indescribable love of Jesus and have received the gift of salvation through Him, strive to give what they have freely received. This love of God compels us to partner in the cause of advancing the Gospel in every possible way.
Halifax Pentecostal Church has greatly prioritized this Great Commission of Jesus and has taken up an active part in evangelizing Atlantic Canada through personal and street evangelism.
Along with Paul, may we say, “For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!” (1 Cor 9:16)
Charity Ministry
Charity work has been a part and parcel of our ministry based on the Biblical highlights on the subject. Therefore, each ministry of the church has made charity inevitable in its activities.
As the apostle James in his letter says (2:20) ‘faith without deed is useless’, each Christian’s duty is bound to open his hand for the poor around him.We focus and work among the homeless and oppressed in our communities with all possible resources.
